This book is a collection of twenty-six articles reprinted from the Canyon Courier newspaper describing pioneers and early settlements in the foothills and canyons west and southwest of Denver, especially surrounding Evergreen.  A number of more recent developments through the 1950’s in the same geographic area are also described.
